Detection & modes
All modes use the same production detector. They only change how probabilities become labels.
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Standard | Balanced default. AI if AI-probability ≈ ≥ 0.65; mixed ≈ 0.35–0.65; else human. |
| Accurate | More conservative. Needs a stronger AI signal (≈ ≥ 0.78) before labeling AI. Fewer false “AI” calls. |
| Experimental | Softer thresholds (AI earlier, ≈ ≥ 0.55). Useful to explore borderline cases — not a separate model. |
Raw probability percentages still come from the model. Mode mainly affects the classification badge.
How to interpret results
- High AI % on short or heavily edited text can be noisy
- Literary / narrative style may score differently than corporate Q&A
- Always combine scores with your knowledge of the work
